When the ceremony was over, we all milled about, talking, taking pictures and placing flowers.
A River of Souls Many people said to me, “This whole weekend has to be so difficult for you,” but honestly, I knew going in that I was going to be the least sad person there. I had that sure knowledge that he had passed into that river of souls, and had had over two and a half years to process that loss.
